Tips: There are a few spots parking if you are an early bird beside the entrance otherwise the the farmer beside has a car parking area in a field next door for 5 euro daily. Access to the beach is a tree lined path leading down to the beach. Wear sturdy shoes and bring everything you need, as there are no facilities nearby.
3. Glen Beach, Wicklow Town
Vibrant and Accessible
Glen Beach is easily accessible with access off the start of the Glen Beach Cliff walk and a handy carpark beside the Wicklow Golf Course. Glen Beach combines the beauty of Wicklow’s natural landscapes with cystal clear waters. Though the beach is stoney, and ideally you need swim shoes to get in, it is worth it once swimming in this beautiful waters. It's a fantastic destination for families and those looking to enjoy a more animated beach experience.
Activities: Take a hike along the Glen Beach Cliff walk as part of a day tri p or bring a picnic.
Tips: Carpark beside Wicklow Golf Club though it can get busy. Drive on through Wicklow town to reach this beach. Plenty great cafes in Wicklow town for a coffee after!
