We asked Theresa for a couple of her favourite swim spots and this is what she came back with:
Magheramore Beach
Magheramoe is one of my favourite beaches. The lane to access it is like a vista between two worlds. You can feel yourself transform as you walk down, picking up pace as you hear the sea.
The first actual view causes a fumble for the camera trying to capture what you are witnessing. Then when you get to the beautiful sandy beach you find yourself sighing with pleasure, you don’t just see it you feel it!
One of my favourite memories on Magheramore is a sunrise dip, where we did some bodyboarding, amazing!
Tra’ na mBo’ Beach
One of my favourite places that I have visited is Tra’ na mBo’ on Waterford’s Copper Coast. After parking at Bunmahon you walk across the headland, with spectacular view’s along the way.
You go down a steep bank (there is a handrail) and the most stunning beach awaits with crystal clear water. The rock formation makes for a dramatic and stunning surroundings…. I will be back!
